St. Joseph Parish continues the tradition of Catholic educational excellence begun on this site almost 100 years ago by the Sisters of the Holy Names, in partnership with the Jesuit Fathers. The school is the largest apostolic work of the parish.
The school’s mission is to create a faith-centered community that educates and inspires students to reach their God-given potential. This is done through teamwork on the part of parents, children and teachers. The school strives to facilitate the full, holistic development of each child, including formation in the Christian values of community service and responsibility.
As an integral part of the parish, the school is under the care of the pastor. In its day-to-day operations, St. Joseph School is led by its principal, Mr. George Hofbauer. Both the principal and pastor are guided on planning, policy and budgetary matters by the School Commission. Commission members are drawn from the Parents Association, and from parish and community members with particular expertise or concern for the school’s mission.
