Yours is the first of Christ’s faces
to greet God’s people
as they assemble for prayer.
Your greeting of welcome
is the first wish that
“The Lord be with you!”

An usher is often one of the first people worshippers meet when they arrive at the church for Mass, and the one people turn to with a question or need during the liturgy. The ministry of usher is open to all youth and adults (women too!) who enjoy providing hospitality and helping with the flow of the liturgy.
