Recovery Café is a community where women and men in recovery from trauma, homelessness, addiction and other mental health challenges come to know ourselves as loved with gifts to share. Recovery Café was founded on the knowledge that every human being is precious and beloved regardless of past trauma, mental and emotional anguish, addictive behaviors or mistakes made.
We provide a beautiful, safe, warm, drug and alcohol free space and loving community to anchor Members in the sustained recovery needed to gain and maintain access to housing, social and health services, healthy relationships, education and employment.
To learn more, join us for a small gathering held every first Thursday of each month from 8:30am - 9:30am. This Coffee Hour will introduce guests to the history of the Cafe, the deliberative process that went into founding it, our daily operations and our School for Recovery. To join our Coffee Hour, please RSVP, here.
St. Joseph’s parishioners serve on the board, provide a ministry of presence and help with a variety of volunteer opportunities, including our Annual Thanksgiving Meal.
