Sacred Silence

As We Are

Want to feel a closer relationship with God? Come to Sacred Silence when you are able, and as you are, for silent prayer and peace.

Prayer is time spent in conscious relationship with God. But pressing daily activities may leave little time for prayer. Often we simply are not aware of the presence of God. Sacred Silence was established to help us set aside time for prayer. Time dedicated to conscious relationship with God.

Sacred Silence participants are encouraged to use whatever prayer practice works best for them - whether memorized, awareness, centering, petition, gratitude, the examen or another prayer form. Resources on prayer are available.

Get Involved

We gather in the church, unless there's a conflict, on Monday nights between 7-8 pm. Time is spent in silent prayerful sitting and walking. It is a peaceful retreat from the busyness and distractions of the day.
