Recovery Cafe - Thanksgiving Meal

Our Annual Thanksgiving Meal & Open Mic Night at the Recovery Cafe, sponsored by St. Joseph. Are you and your family looking for a way to make Thanksgiving really memorable for those in need? On Saturday, November 17, we will prepare and serve a traditional Thanksgiving meal to 125 members of the Recovery Cafe.

We need your help! Please consider signing up to provide food and/or volunteer. Food donation and volunteer sign-ups click here. 

Volunteer shifts: Food prep/clean-up at St. Joseph, 1:00-4:00 pm; Food service/clean-up at Recovery Cafe: 4:00-8:00 pm - Food Donations: turkey & gravy, ham, mashed potatoes, stuffing/dressing, sweet potato casserole, green bean casserole, festive green salad, vegetarian/gluten free/dairy free hot dish, dinner rolls + butter, cranberry sauce, milk, apple juice, satsuma oranges, and extra gravy.
WINTER COMFORT ITEMS - This year we are collecting winter comfort items for the youth group to assemble 125 "You are loved" winter comfort care packages to accompany the Thanksgiving meal for Recovery Cafe members. Please bring the following items to St. Joseph Parish Center by Tuesday, November 13.  Wool socks for men (88 pr, large), Wool socks for women (38 pr, medium), Hand warmers (250), Toe warmers (250), Chapstick, Plastic rain ponchos (large)
