2016-17 Concert Season
Ad Majorem Dei Glorium Concert Series
The arts have always been an important dimension of Catholic life and worship. Beautiful music, filling a beautiful space lifts the heart and reminds us of the sacred nature of all creation, and of our participation in that grace. At St. Joseph the fourth season of the Ad Majorem Dei Gloriam Concert Series brings transcendent music into our Church, inviting parishioners and guests to celebrate God in a new and beautiful way. The series features Choral Arts Northwest, a nationally recognized, award-winning chamber choir and student choirs from two locally-acclaimed Jesuit Universities: Seattle University and Gonzaga University. The series also features some of our gifted parish musicians: organist Matthew Samelak, soprano Madeline Bersamina and singer/songwriter Jennifer Kelly.
Each January, St. Joseph invites applications from ensembles throughout the region who wish to be part of our concert series for the coming season. The application for the 2017-2018 Concert Season is available here all applications must be submitted by the February 28th deadline to be considered.
