Parish Life

LGBTQ Ministry

Education, Formation, Prayer and Service

St. Joseph’s LGBTQ Ministry welcomes members of St. Joseph Parish who are LGBTQ+ identified and allies. We welcome LGBTQ+ individuals and families who are new to the Catholic Church or want to reconsider the church through our ministry. We seek to develop a supportive community through fellowship, spiritual growth through exploration of Ignatian Spirituality, education, formation, prayer and service. We desire to serve both the St. Joseph Parish community as well as the larger community, and to be a ministry of presence for LGBTQ+ Catholics.

We come from a variety of backgrounds and life experiences and are united in our desire to seek the Living God. None of us takes our faith life for granted but rather celebrate our desire for God in the midst of the Church. Read about our parish Everybody Belongs banner here.
