Sunday Hospitality

*Coffee & Donuts are back!

Sunday mornings are a great time to gather and catch up with church friends over a cup of coffee. You have this opportunity each week after the morning Mass.

In fall, winter, and spring we meet below the church, in the Social Hall, immediately following 9am Mass. We also open the gym to let the kids get their wiggles out. When the weather gets nice or the calendar tells us it’s summer, we head up to the plaza between the parish offices and the church building. Each week is staffed by a different volunteer team who goes and picks up the donuts, brews the coffee, cuts the donuts, and serves the smiles!

Get Involved

If you would like to get involved in the church, this is a great way to start. The responsibilities are small—once a month—and the payoffs are great—a happy, joyful, and social community. Not ready to commit just yet? We can still use your help: during hospitality, please make sure to go up and welcome new faces or people you don’t recognize. Some people have been here for generations, while other families are brand new. You never know unless you ask! Please email Mary Wiseman at maryw@ to join our team.

St. Joseph’s can be a big place and this is the time to get to know one another and build a strong community. Finally, we thank parents for keeping an eye on the kids in the gym. We like to keep the balls in the gym and avoid having them end up in the Social Hall. If your child is on the stage, please also make sure they are safe and use the stairs to get down. These times are certainly “village” moments and we are grateful for the many hands and eyes to keep everyone safe and happy.
