Faith Formation

Adult Faith

the Journey of Faith

Spiritual growth continues throughout our lifetimes. New experiences - new stages of life, new jobs, new relationships, new challenges, new graces - come our way as long as we’re alive and open to the movements of the Holy Spirit.

As a Jesuit parish, St. Joseph has a long tradition of nurturing and fostering our openness to new life and our call to discern the way forward. Many, if not all of our ministries are imbued with Ignatian Spirituality and the desire to find God at work in all aspects of our lives, both personally and as a community of faith.

Here at St. Joseph we are happy to have an active Adult Faith Formation program.  Look forward to great events, special speakers, studies in scripture and spirituality, and much more.

Additionally, we continue to be blessed in having a fantastic R.C.I.A. team and program here at St. Joseph. Through the Rite of Christian Initiation for Adults program, adults enter into our Catholic community. Trusting that each participant’s journey of faith and spirituality has been going on their whole lives, R.C.I.A. initiates those wishing to enter fully into the Church.

But the journey of faith and spirituality continues after entry into the Church and so we embrace a variety of groups, programs, and organizations that assist us in bringing light and grace into our lives. These include the Ignatian Spirituality Center, and the Spiritual Exercises in Everyday Life.
